These paper puppets were constructed out of water colour card , gouache paint base colours, coloured pencils we use for textures and shading and Posca pens were used for highlighting characteristics.

With the theme of mythos three removable heads were created themed around UK mythos focusing on the legend of the black beast of Bungay , pagan mythos of fairies and the UK folklore of sirens and mermaids.

Creating the short animations and fabricated Pop it was an amazing opportunity it’s allowed me to create unique adaptations of traditional folklore in a whimsical and magical art style was also prioritising visualisation over complicated Animasion.
